TIRE RACK STREET SURVIVAL
SOMMER SCHNELL / HPDE
Introduction
The Street Survival™ school goes beyond your high school Driver’s Education course. It is a one-day, “hands-on” driving experience that teaches teens who already hold a driver’s license about their car’s handling limits and how to control them. We use real-world situations, practiced in a safe, closed course, with in-car coaches, so that teens can learn techniques that can save their life!
Here’s a brief video describing the program.
This is not a class for learning how to drive fast instead it is focused on safety and car control. The goal is to teach already licensed drivers the skills needed in emergency situations. Each car reacts differently, which is why students use their car so that they get the most benefit from the exercises.
